How to read top → bottom
The top half names the five engineering capabilities and shows the concrete work packages that build each one.
The bottom half names the six product directions and shows which capabilities each one calls on. Same colour means same dependency.
Three foundational columns
Platform core, Customer delivery, and Data normalisation are shared infrastructure. Every product that progresses needs them; building them is a shared cost, not a per-product line.
These are also the lower-risk columns — mostly clear definitions, mostly low-to-medium implementation difficulty.
Two differentiation columns
R&D customisation and Decision automation are the high-risk, high-leverage axes. They differentiate offerings but carry "very unclear" definition and "very hard" implementation risk grades.
Notice that Companion diagnostics is the only product that draws heavily on every column. That's where the heaviest engineering ask sits.
